Delaware Coastal Airport

1839
Delaware Coastal Airport just outside Georgetown, Delaware, a 15-minute drive from the beach, is the gateway to sand, surf and the sky for those traveling by air to and from Sussex County. A general aviation facility built in the 1940s and once used by the U.S. Navy, the 525-acre airport has undergone more than $25 million in improvements in recent years to make it a full service, modern facility that accommodates everything from single-engine planes to corporate aircraft, even Boeing Business Jets. With a 5,500-foot-long main runway, as well as a 3,100-foot-long crosswind runway for smaller aircraft, more than 80 tie-down spaces, 20 hangars, a fixed-base operator and casual, sit-down restaurant, Delaware Coastal Airport has all the features and amenities for your aviation needs.
